Tessera Code

Keep your fork in sync. See exactly what changed.

Automatically maintain forks of open-source software with repeatable, human-readable patches.

Tessera Patch applies precise customizations to upstream projects. This showroom turns those patches into interactive before-and-after comparisons so you can see exactly what each change does — and decide if Tessera is right for your workflow.

T3 Code — Copilot Integration

Live proof1 comparison

Added GitHub Copilot as a selectable AI provider inside T3 Code, bringing first-class Copilot support to the VSCode-inspired OSS editor.

Backed by real before/after screenshots from a shipped Copilot provider integration in T3 Code.

Why it matters

T3 Code launched without a GitHub Copilot provider option. Developers already invested in Copilot had no path to use it inside the editor, and the community request had support but no clear merge path upstream.

Tessera Patch identified the provider registration pattern in the T3 Code codebase, generated a Copilot adapter matching the existing interface contract, and produced a clean before/after diff — now surfaced here as a live comparison.

How it works

Patch. Track. Compare.

Tessera starts with a contained customization request, applies it deliberately against upstream software, and turns the result into proof that can be reviewed publicly.

01

Patch

Tessera Patch identifies repeatable customization patterns and applies them cleanly against the upstream source.

02

Track

Each applied patch is recorded against a specific upstream version so reconciliation stays predictable when upstream changes.

03

Compare

The Showroom surfaces every patch as interactive proof: slider, side-by-side, or gallery view depending on what reads best.

Next OSS target

Gitea

The community wants custom CSS themes beyond light/dark. A theme picker and full theming system would produce clear before/after proof.

Self-hosted Git with rich UI. Theme patches align directly with fork customization.

themeself-hostedgit

This is the next open-source project in the showroom pipeline. It is intentionally distinct from the current live proof so the site can show both shipped evidence and believable next-up work.

Why Tessera

Fork maintenance that stays human-readable.

Repeatable patches

Each customization is defined once and applied consistently. No drift, no manual merges, no guesswork when upstream ships a new version.

Visual proof

Every patch produces before-and-after comparisons you can share with your team. See the actual change, not just a diff. Browse examples →

Clear methodology

A documented workflow from analysis to reconciliation. Predictable enough to automate, transparent enough to audit. See how it works →

Design System Refresh

A coordinated visual overhaul covering homepage layout, typography, and brand consistency across the agency site.

An internal concept demo used to refine the showroom itself. It remains visible for layout and component testing, but it should not be treated as equivalent proof to a real OSS patch.
