Why it matters
T3 Code launched without a GitHub Copilot provider option. Developers already invested in Copilot had no path to use it inside the editor, and the community request had support but no clear merge path upstream.
Tessera Patch identified the provider registration pattern in the T3 Code codebase, generated a Copilot adapter matching the existing interface contract, and produced a clean before/after diff — now surfaced here as a live comparison.
How it works
Tessera starts with a contained customization request, applies it deliberately against upstream software, and turns the result into proof that can be reviewed publicly.

Next OSS target
The community wants custom CSS themes beyond light/dark. A theme picker and full theming system would produce clear before/after proof.
Self-hosted Git with rich UI. Theme patches align directly with fork customization.
This is the next open-source project in the showroom pipeline. It is intentionally distinct from the current live proof so the site can show both shipped evidence and believable next-up work.
